
LP Giobbi, born Leah Chisholm on August 19, 1987, is an American DJ, music producer, and classically-trained jazz pianist known for her unique style of piano house music. Raised in Eugene, Oregon by music-loving parents, she was exposed to music from an early age, particularly The Grateful Dead.

Giobbi graduated from UC Berkeley in 2008 with a degree in classical jazz piano. After college, she played jazz piano gigs until a chance encounter with a Daft Punk producer sparked her interest in electronic music production.

LP Giobbi is known for blending piano house grooves with club beats. Her style incorporates live piano into her performances, drawing from her jazz background. She cites The Grateful Dead as a major influence, which inspired her "Dead House" project, incorporating stems from Grateful Dead songs into her sets.

In 2019, Giobbi co-founded Femme House, a non-profit organization that expands opportunities for women, gender-expansive individuals, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ creatives in the music industry. The organization provides free workshops, bootcamps, and online courses on music production.
