The Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, also known as DLO3, is a dynamic soul-jazz group that was founded in Seattle in 2015. Known for their groove-based sound, the band artfully blends elements of soul, jazz, rhythm & blues, and funk, creating music that resonates with the styles of the 1960s and 1970s.
The trio was conceptualized by Delvon Lamarr's wife and manager, Amy Novo, in 2015. Lamarr himself, originally trained as a trumpeter and drummer, switched his focus to the organ at the age of 22 after being inspired by jazz organist Joe Doria.
